We looked at three nursing homes that day and were in no doubt that we wanted our mother to go to Abbots Leigh Manor. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed. Our greatest wish is that everyone at the end of their life may be so fortunate to find a place which offers so much knowledge, experience, care and compassion.
The facilities are excellent and throughout her time at Abbots Leigh, my mother experienced the highest quality of care. We were impressed by the effective way that the nursing staff worked with local GPs and provided a caring, supportive environment that she appreciated and valued. Abbots Leigh also benefits from an active community life providing a stimulating environment. In her last days, we were impressed by the compassion she received withindividual carers remaining at her bedside. Abbots Leigh helped us greatly with the practical and emotional difficulties of the period leading to her death. We would have no hesitation in recommending Abbots Leigh to anyone seeking a nursing home for an elderly relative.
